Take a look at this short sample code:
Response.ContentType = "application/pdf";
Response.AppendHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=MyFile.pdf");
Response.TransmitFile(Server.MapPath("~/Files/MyFile.pdf"));
Response.End();
You can get to the file in your solution with theand Server.MapPathand method.
